The bombings in Sri Lanka are one of the deadliest in recent memory. Over 350 people have died including several foreigners. Two among the dead were Saudis working for the Kingdom’s national carrier Saudi Airlines.

The Saudi Airlines crew was believed to have been staying at the Cinnamon Grand hotel in Colombo where one of the attacks took place.

Saudi Airlines immediately issued a statement stating that one of their crew members has been injured and two others are missing.

The names of the missing were later revealed in the local press as cabin manager, Ahmed Zain Jaafari and steward, Hani Maged Othman.

However, they have later confirmed in a tweet that the two originally reported missing were dead.

The director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser praised the two for their service in an official statement by the airlines.
