The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman dished out lots of new information during an exclusive interview with Norah O’Donnell of CBS This Morning for ’60 Minutes’. This is he first U.S. interview with a Saudi leader since 2005. Our leader shared some very interesting details about the reforms that took place in the Kingdom, as well as foreign policies and the ‘rivalry’ with Iran. 

They discussed the political, economical and social reforms in Saudi recently 

When he was asked about Iran, the Crown Prince shared an example of their current foreign policies to how Hitler’s was and mentioned that Iran is not a rival to Saudi Arabia at all. 

“Its army is not among the top five armies in the Muslim world. The Saudi economy is larger than the Iranian economy. Iran is far from being equal to Saudi Arabia’ (via CBS) 

When asked about Ayatollah of Iran.. 

O’Donnell mentioned that she saw somewhere that Crown Prince MBS has referred to Ayatollah, Khamenei, as the new ‘Hitler of the Middle East’. Crown Prince MBS responded to this statement by saying “Absolutely. He wants to expand, create his own project in the Middle East very much like Hitler who wanted to expand at the time. Many countries around the world and in Europe did not realise how dangerous Hitler was until what happened, happened. I don’t want to see the same events happening in the Middle East.”

He answered “Saudi Arabia doesn’t want to acquire any nuclear bomb,but if Iran developed a nuclear bomb, we will follow suit as soon as possible.” 

Crown Prince MBS is set to visit the U.S. and meet with President Donald Trump 

The television interview for 60 minutes by CBS is set to be broadcast two days prior to the Crown Prince’s meeting with President Trump.
