In an interview with The Atlantic earlier in the week, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman addressed several situations occurring in the Middle East.
During the one-to-one interview, the Crown Prince addressed Saudi Arabia’s stance on women’s rights, Iran’s supreme leader and on Israel.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is the first Arab leader to say that he recognises Israel’s right to own land and have a nation-state as do the Palestinians as well.
Saying all things positive in the interview, Crown Prince MBS addressed both nation’s right to own land and to live in a peaceful nation.
And he went further to say:
“I believe that each people, anywhere, has a right to live in their peaceful nation. I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have the right to have their own land. But we have to have a peace agreement to assure the stability for everyone and to have normal relations.”
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been continuously supportive of several reforms in the Kingdom as the country approaches its 2030 vision of a country less reliant on oil.
He has been supportive of the lifted ban on women driving in Saudi Arabia and has addressed the abaya dress code in the Kingdom, saying that “abayas” are not mandatory as long as the women wear respectful clothing.
