Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received Britain’s Prince William, Prince of Wales, in Diriyah on Monday evening as part of the British royal’s official visit to the Kingdom

The meeting highlighted the strong cultural ties between the two nations and placed Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage at the center of the occasion.

During the visit, the Crown Prince accompanied Prince William on a tour of Diriyah, the birthplace of the Saudi state and the capital of the First Saudi State

The royal guest was guided through the historic At-Turaif district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its traditional Najdi architecture.

Walking through the narrow mud-brick alleyways, Prince William was introduced to the palaces of the imams and early rulers, gaining insight into the foundations of Saudi history and governance.

One of the most symbolic moments came in front of Salwa Palace, Diriyah’s most prominent landmark and former seat of power, where the two leaders posed for a commemorative photograph
