The box’s lid, in the video, seemed to have had the Kingdom’s royal court symbol engraved on it. This then lead to the suspicion of the Saudi authorities who looked into the issue and proceeded to arresting the men behind the scam.
The perfumes were fake and were sent to the presenter under the royal courts to scam her, for the benefit of the mens’ personal intentions.
Other fake perfume boxes were found in the belongings of the men in the duration of the investigation process.
