Weather Update: Expect Sandstorms And Rain Through The Weekend In The Kingdom

Take out those umbrellas and raincoats, it is going to be a rainy weekend.

Weather experts are predicting rain and thunderstorms through many parts of the Kingdom this weekend

Sandstorms shrouded many Saudi cities, including Riyadh, on Thursday and rain and thunderstorms are expected on Friday in central, eastern and southern parts of the Kingdom.

The General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection said in a statement that “a cold wave in major parts of the Kingdom accompanied by high-speed winds causing dust storms limiting horizontal visibility” is expected on Friday.
