Living in an apartment comes with its highs and lows, a statement all apartment renters know to be true.
On one hand, we have the advantage of the elevator, views from up above (if you’re lucky), a compact space that doesn’t take up much cleaning and several other pros.
But as with anything else, living in an apartment also comes with several setbacks, such as these:
It almost makes you want to cry too. Especially if you’re trying to focus on finishing a book or anything work-related.
It almost makes you want to go up there and ask if there were bricks for shoes while they ‘walk’ around their apartment.
🙂
“These are designated? I had no idea!” are their most common phrases.
Don’t even get me started on those who take up two parking spots due to their lack of driving knowledge.
This is when the real struggle comes in. If you’re hungry and can smell the tantalising scent of your neighbor’s kabsa, it could deter all efforts of a healthier lifestyle.
Conversely, no one really wants that samak scent infused with your own air freshener. It doesn’t work.
So you have your watchman’s number on speed-dial, just to make sure, every single time.
Oh wait, it’s just the McDonald’s I ordered.
