A 2,000 Year Old Saudi Tomb Is The Latest Snapchat Landmarker Filter
If you thought the wonders of Al Ula couldn’t possibly get ANY cooler… think again.
Mixing the tradition of a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Snapchat tech trends, three artists will now get the chance to be featured on the famous Qasr Al Farid, also know as ‘the lonely island of the Nabataeans.’
The Nabataeans were an immensely wealthy tribe who lived in Madinah Saleh 2,000 years ago. Qasr Al Farid is one of 111 tombs dotted around the area and its intricate carvings (along with the new tourist visa) are proving to draw for tourists from around the world to check it out.
