A beautiful picture of Makkah in the 19th century emerged via Twitter and it’ll give you all sorts of nostalgic feels over history.
The black and white picture showcases the Kaaba in Makkah in all its glory, with the caption “Picture taken of the Holy Kaaba in 1297 H Islamic year, before 120 years.”
It is a significant holy monument to the Muslims around the world and has welcomed more than two million Muslim pilgrims worldwide in 2017.
