An Omani engineering student shared what it was like to work as a barista and it’s taking up the Arab Twitterverse by storm.
The young man explained on Twitter how working at Starbucks while a student in the US changed his life.
He explained that it was his last day at work and the previous six months working at the coffeeshop were amongst the best times he spent in the US.
Many people responded with support and appraisal and the student even spoke to an Omani radio about it.
He stated that he is not affected by what his local society might consider and will continue doing what he loves “regardless of what anyone says”.
