It Rained Heavily In Makkah Yesterday And Its Videos Are Incredible

Saudi Arabia is in a middle of an unusual and un-desertlike rainy season, which has been going on for over a month now. Yesterday too it rained again heavily in the Western region after a small period of a dry spell. Just when we thought the rains were over they came back with full force and gave social media users plenty of amazing videos to share.

Just before the Fajr (dawn) prayers, the rains began

Worshippers continued to pray as the rain lashed on

Some parts of Makkah were then flooded

Some roads had to be closed

And, several motorists in the region had to be rescued
