More Than 1.4 Million Pilgrims Have Already Arrived To Makkah As Hajj Approaches

The season of Hajj is approaching and a reported 1.4 million pilgrims arrived to the Kingdom on Sunday, as announced by the Directorate General for Passports.

The Grand Mosque in Makkah has welcomed pilgrims from all corners of the world, prepping for their journey that begins on August 19.

The unification of all Muslims is evident in their worship, and these numbers are just one proof of that. Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Abdullah bin Bandar chaired a meeting on Monday to discuss the preparations to take for the holy sites.

All sectors are being checked to ensure the safety of all pilgrims who will be welcomed into the holy city of Mekkah.
