Saudi Arabian animation studio Manga Productions is working with Japan’s Toei Animation to make the country’s first animation feature film. The film is being called “The Journey” and will be directed by Japanese filmmaker Shizuno Kobun.

The story revolves around popular Saudi folklore.
It is scheduled to release in 2020 and the budget has been pegged at somewhere between 10 to 15 million dollars according to Variety.com
