It may sound like the plot of a sci-fi comedy (and a really awesome one at that), but supermodel Chrissy Teigen and Sophia the robot have gone through a full three-act relationship drama in real life.

Sophia, arguably the world’s most advanced humanoid robot AND a citizen of Saudi Arabia, and Chrissy Teigan have been communicating on Twitter, becoming frenemies and it is pretty adorable.

It all started with Sophia announcing her upcoming trip

Then there was mockery

But she was warned not to poke the bear

On Wednesday, Teigen visited CES, an annual trade show featuring cutting-edge tech.

Also at CES, was Sofia, who, it seems, hadn’t forgotten that burn by Chrissy

Teigen’s reaction can best be described as complete terror.

Sophia kindly extended an invitation for lunch to her Twitter foe that Teigen gladly (and cautiously) accepted
