At the 8th Riyadh Economic Forum on Wednesday, a statement was made stating that the private sector should offer working females flexible working hours and a conductive working environment in order to empower them.
The three-day forum that was set up by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) saw over 300 delegates from both private and public sectors where final recommendations were passed that help emphasis female empowerment giving as well as the opportunity to work in either sector.
The forum also saw other recommendations such as the formulating of special legal framework to govern and regulate partnerships between the two sectors, local and foreign investment, manufacturing industries and more.
Suggestions to engrave work culture into the minds of young people at school was also discussed, letting this happen by allowing them to work part-time jobs during vacations.
