Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Paris on Sunday as part of the next leg of his now global tour. He was previously in the U.S, London and Cairo during his first foreign trips as heir-to-the-throne in the last month. The Crown Prince’s efforts are aimed at reshaping Saudi’s image and welcoming investors into the Kingdom, and to help reduce its oil dependency by 2030. 

His Royal Highness was welcomed by France’s foreign minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian at the airport

The two nations will discuss their bilateral trade relations amongst others

French and Saudi leaders are set to focus on cultural ties and investments, reports Saudi Press Agency.

France and Saudi now plan to ‘invest in the future’

Meetings with French business leaders will take place once the Crown Prince has settled in Paris, to help plan and build trade ties to ‘invest in the future.’

We want a new cooperation, concentrating less on contracts and more in investing in the future, especially in digital and renewable energy, with a common vision.
