Iraq’s Prime Minister Tweeted About His Friendship With Saudi’s King Salman And It’s Quite Refreshing To See
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi recently visited the Kingdom to meet with King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He tweeted out his appreciation for the visit, saying it felt good to be back in Saudi Arabia and tha he “values friendship with King Salman”.

Al Abadi also attended the very first meeting of the Saudi- Iraqi coordination council
The council discussed many issues to tackle and cooperate between the two countries- in terms of economic, security, political and cultural sectors.
Iraq and Saudi has started a coordination to ease the strained relations between the two after 25 years following the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in the ’90s.
