Janadriyah Festival’s First Day Was A Hit And It Looked Like King Salman Enjoyed His Time Inaugurating Too

Photos of the 32nd Janadriyah Festival has sprung existence on the web as it was inaugurated by King Salman yesterday. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was welcomed by Prince Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Bin Ayyaf, Minister of National Guard and Chairman of the Supreme Committee.

During this time it’s only open to men; women and families are able to join from Monday Feb 12 

All the way until the last day! Visitors can enter for free and it runs from 11.a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

King Salman and his guests enjoyed spectating the Annual Grand Camel Race 

And several folk dances and cultural shows took place for the festival. 

Other guests include Sushma Swaraj, representing India as the main guest of honor at this year’s festival, according to Saudi Gazette. Notable persons who attended the opening ceremony are Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, crown prince of Kuwait; Sayyid Asaad Bin Tariq Al-Said, deputy prime minister of Oman for relations and international cooperation affairs; Sheikh Muhammad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, president of Bahrain’s National Guard; Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, chairman of the board of trustees of Sheikh Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.
