This is such a progressive step towards inclusion and thought for learners with special needs.

According to Arab News, the assistant director of education in the Sabya governorate, Hanan bint Ali Al-Hazimi, inaugurated the school already.

Why this is a remarkable step forward

She told the publication that this type of virtual schooling is vital for students with special needs due to the complications that wouldn’t enable them to attend public schools.

Al-Hazimi also added that the school’s goals are to give an opportunity to all those students who can’t usually continue their studies.

With the help of the Saudi Education Ministry, even digital textbooks are now available through an online portal, exuding its accessibility to students. This initiative was part of the ministry’s efforts for the Kingdom to adopt digital tech in the education sector.
