KEC Unveils Madinah’s Future Vision At Cityscape Global 2025

Knowledge Economic City (KEC) took center stage at Cityscape Global 2025, presenting a bold and forward-looking vision for Madinah one that seamlessly blends heritage, innovation, lifestyle, and smart urban living.

As one of Saudi Arabia’s landmark national development projects, KEC is transforming 6.8 million sqm within Madinah’s sacred boundaries into integrated destinations shaped around faith, culture, sustainability, and human-centred design.

Operating under the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA) and strategically located near the Prophet’s Mosque, the Haramain High-Speed Rail Station, and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, KEC stands at the heart of the Holy City’s evolution.

At this year’s Cityscape, the company showcased its comprehensive roadmap for building a smart, connected, and sustainable urban ecosystem aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. The booth highlighted flagship projects, each defining a different dimension of Madinah’s next chapter.

Al Alyaa emerged as a major standout at Cityscape, drawing strong interest for its modern, human-centric design and lifestyle-driven masterplan.

The district offers premium residential units, a hotel, serviced apartments, retail, and office spaces each designed around greenery, walkability, wellbeing, and smart infrastructure.

The newly opened DoubleTree by Hilton Madinah Gate, offering 325 rooms, marks an important hospitality milestone and strengthens the district’s role in welcoming visitors to the Holy City.

Islamic World District a Global Cultural Landmark spanning 980,000 sqm, the Islamic World District (IWD) pays tribute to Madinah’s global Islamic identity.

Planned to host more than 20,000 hotel rooms and infused with architectural styles from across the Muslim world, the district is set to welcome leading international hospitality brands including Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, and Archipelago.
