The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been admitted to hospital.
The 84-year-old is receiving treatment for cholecystitis, an inflammation of the gall bladder.
He was admitted to King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh to receive medical tests on Monday according to the Saudi Press Agency.
