King Salman Is Inaugurating The Super EXCITING Janadriyah Festival This Wednesday

Janadriyah Festival is back on February 7 and Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman will inaugurate it on Wednesday up north of Riyadh. Not only will the event include royalty but entertainment like a camel race, traditional dances and an operetta will also take place.

Janadriyah Festival and why it’s so anticipated 

The Janadriyah Festival is held in the Janadriyah village yearly to celebrate and keep in touch with Saudi’s traditions and rich culture. It is because of this that the festival boasts thousands of visitors during the time it runs.

India is the festival’s guest of honor this year

Sushma Swaraj, minister of external affairs, will be attending the opening ceremony on behalf of India. India was chosen as this year’s guest of honor to show the strength and brotherly relationship between the two countries. 

The National Heritage and Cultural Festival of Saudi Arabia seeks to encourage our people to uphold values and heritage as well as enhance cultural exchange.”

Festival’s deets

The festival will run from Feb 7 to Feb 24, with the first five days reserved for men only; and women/families can join in from Feb 12 until the last day. 

It is free entry for all and is open everyday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
