KS Relief, short for The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre has signed a program along with an organisation in Sudan to provide meals to the needy in the entire country during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

And what best time to do so than during the month of compassion, by showing kindness to our brothers and sisters around the world.

KSRelief and the civil society organisation in Sudan signed a joint initiative worth $500,000 (SAR 1,875,000), reported Albawaba.com

Food baskets and meals will be provided for more than 85,000 people in Sudan

Food baskets and meals will be distributed by the KSRelief team and philanthropic organisations in Sudan to around 87,500 displaces people in camps. The initiative was thought to help alleviate and ease the suffering of homeless families in camps and to bring them joy during their fast. These camps will namely be located in Khartoum, South Kordofan, South Darfur and North Darur.

Ten-thousand Yemenis in Sudan will also be given food baskets and meals, as part of a humanitarian response plan that the United Nations launched in 2018.
