Saad Hariri, Lebanon’s ex prime-minister, was welcomed by The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman today following his surprising resignation on Sunday.
Media outlets in the region went crazy on Sunday, after Hariri had announced from Riyadh that he was resigning from his position, due to a worry about an assassination plot (similar to his father’s in 2005).
Reuters reported that Hariri felt that the situation in Lebanon currently reminded him of the tensions that took place in 2005, prior to his own father’s assassination.
