The French President Is Visiting The Kingdom To Meet Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Saudi Arabia on a surprise trip, Thursday night, and met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who welcomed him at the airport, reported Saudi Press Agency.

Macron said he made the decision to visit the kingdom in part over the ballistic missile that targeted Riyadh and to also discuss issues concerning Iran

“I believe it’s important that we work with Saudi Arabia for the purpose of guaranteeing stability in the region and the fight against terrorism,” Macron said

The surprise trip to Saudi Arabia comes at the end of a two-day trip by Macron to the UAE where he attended the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
