The Makkah Province’s police have arrested two people involved in setting a woman’s car on fire in Al-Jumoom Governorate on Monday, as announced by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Wednesday.
In a report by the Saudi Gazette, the emirate sent out a statement stating that investigations began and it has found the two through various leads. The perpetrators were then identified after obtaining and following through with received facts.
The perpetrators were residents of the Makkah Province and it has been confirmed that they were, indeed, involved in setting the vehicle ablaze. One of the two purchased a small amount of petrol from a gas station nearby and contacted the second person to help fulfil the act.
The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution to prepare the completion of the process to penalise the two persons.
