Evidently, since the royal decree took place on June 24th, a good number of women in the Kingdom have been anxiously waiting to get their own driver’s license. More than 120,000 women have already applied for it, in fact.

That is a HUUUUUGE number.

The Interior Ministry announced the number of women waiting to train on Sunday

Ministry Interior’s spokesman also added that six driving schools for women have already been up and running across the Kingdom.

More than 120,000 women have applied for licences and the demand remains extremely high.

In the next few weeks, 40 female road accident investigators will begin working in the Kingdom.
