Saudi citizens are the only ones allowed to work in sales jobs, effective from September 11, according to many reports.
Yup.
Starting next month, staff working at clothing stores, furniture shops, vehicle and home appliances stores will all be Saudi nationals.
The Saudization process is a directive from the labor ministry and is parallel to the Kingdom’s goals for Vision 2030, to increasing Saudis rate of employment.
Ha! Good for them.

A user on Twitter @VivianNereim tweeted the Saudization and later discovered, as per the labor ministry’s guide, that instead of 100% Saudization, it is now 70%.
It appears from this labor ministry guide that the original decision for 100% Saudization of these jobs was amended to 70%, which means that some foreigners can remain and gives business owners more flexibility:
The implementation guide published by the Ministry of Labor specifies a 70% mandate, with the condition of having at least 1 Saudi in the store per shift regardless of the size of store / company.
