Renowned Pakistani actor, singer and model Fawad Khan was in Makkah on Saturday, and Bollywood lovers everywhere were ecstatic. Khan not only visited the Kingdom for Hajj, but he also attended a media event wherein many representatives of Saudi’s Media groups were present.

The actor was also invited to attend the annual Hajj lunch hosted by Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Fawad Khan even said a few kind words towards the closing ceremony of the Ministry of Media Event, stating “I’m honored to be representing 200 million Pakistanis in front of such a diverse audience and a nation that we love and highly respect.”

In his speech, Khan mentioned this being his first Haj experience…

Khan shared that it was his first time performing Haj and that the process ran very smoothly and went on to thank the Kingdom’s leaders and everyone who has helped in easing the process for pilgrims in Makkah and Medina.

This was my first experience of Haj and I am happy to share that I take back great memories of it and I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of the entire security and government’s management for the remarkable services rendered to all pilgrims. When this opportunity of Haj was offered to me, I was quite sure that I was not mentally and physically prepared for this journey. I had only heard about the hardships of the process and the need to prepare for it as a last trip of one life. Being amidst large crowds of various cultural backgrounds with restrictions of language and limitations of age and abilities to bear with the challenges of heat and limited areas of movement was certainly not something I thought would be so smooth.”

Fawad Khan has been the lead male actor in a number of Bollywood movies

One of the actor’s most recent work is in feature-film Kapoor & Sons, where he starred alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. The 36-year-old is also known for playing the charming role of a prince in the Disney-film Khoobsurat (the movie that launched Khan’s career.)

Now he’s pretty much one of the most sought-after male leads in the Bollywood film industry with an-ever growing fanbase in India, Pakistan and the Middle East too.

Fans were absolutely excited to hear about the actor’s presence in the Kingdom

Pakistani media is all over the news showing great pride for Khan’s representation of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia.

This definitely isn’t the first time Bollywood’s most-notable celebs visited Saudi

Bollywood actor Ajaz Khan has also been in the Kingdom where he paid Mekkah a visit as a pilgrim a few months back.
