The arrests came after a video capturing the alleged culprits was shared on social media last week

The incident took place on a highway located near Abha. The governor of Saudi Arabia’s Asir governorate ordered the arrest of three men soon after the video went viral

The men’s prank sparked anger on social media and many people demanded that actions be taken against their insensitive prank.

The prank comes at a time when people are still nervous over a real dead body tied to a bed was spotted in the middle of a local highway located in Abha.
