Preparations For Crown Prince MBS’ U.S. Trip To Meet President Trump On Tuesday Are Well Under Way
U.S. President Donald Trump will receive Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House on Tuesday, as announced by the White House last week. The visit comes as part of Crown Prince MBS’ first foreign trip as heir to the throne, following trips to Cairo and London earlier this month, Saudi Gazette reports.
U.S. media has been showing praise for all the reforms that has taken place in Saudi recently
John Hannah, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, wrote in a magazine that this meeting is “a potential historic moment that the president should seize.” Adding that the Kingdom is perhaps one of the world’s most influential Islamic state.
His trips to Cairo and London were a success earlier this month
One of the many highlights of the Crown Prince MBS’ Cairo trip was visiting a cathedral and meeting withCoptic Pope Tawadros II. His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised the role of Coptic Christians in helping maintain the stability of Egypt and by supporting and listening by the issues of the Arab and Islamic world.
This is just one of the great many steps he has taken so far to progress towards his Vision 2030 aims, and adapt to a more ‘moderate Islam’.
