Several posts went around social media on Wednesday with claims that Saudi Arabia granted permission for Air India to fly over the Kingdom to get to Israel. A columnist at the Toronto Sun even tweeted an article linking back to AJENews.
However, according to Arab News, Saudi Civil Aviation Authority denied claims of granting airspace to Air India.

Air India, on the other hand, stated on Wednesday that they planned to start direct flights to Israel and brought up the idea to pass through Saudi’s airspace. Saudi does not recognise Israel and there has been a 70-year-old airspace ban.
