Residents Are Heartbroken And FURIOUS After Seeing A Footage Of A Man Slapping A Park’s Cleaner

A young man was seen slapping a cleaning employee in the face, at a public park in Riyadh, while another man had recorded the entire thing. The Twitter page, HashKSA, uploaded the short clip showing the horrendous act, and the Riyadh Secretariat has announced following the matter up with security authorities.

The video has angered everyone on the social media site

The video shows the young man in a thobe, evidently slapping the employee across the face and walking away. This behavior didn’t sit well with the person recording who then went on to check on the employee.

People are so furious, they’re all collectively demanding punishments and humiliation for the assailant

“They should catch him and spread his name so he and others learn their lesson.”

Others even suggested that the assailant get the exact same treatment he put the employee through

A lot of Saudi tweeps suggested similar public humiliation as punishment.

In just less than 24 hours after the news broke out, after spreading like wildfire, the authorities arrested the man. Sabq announced that the arrest of the resident who assaulted the cleaning employee at Granada Park in Riyadh. His case is being referred to the Public Prosecution.
