So many incredible things have been discovered in the Kingdom in the last year, showing just how truly extensive the land is- and its history!

In yet another significant discovery, Al Arabiya reports that rock inscriptions were found in the Al-Henakiyah in Madinah, Shwimes and Wajba in Hael (both listed in UNESCO as World Heritage Sites, like Al Ula). The inscriptions show the existence of civilisations dated before writing was even in existence.

These inscriptions show that the very first migration in Saudi started 17,000 years back

According to Saudi Gazette, The first migration started 17,000 years ago due to a drought. Archaeological findings in the area of Hael And Al-Jouf shows artefacts dating all the way back to the Middle Stone Age.

Can you imagine?

The way that these numbers and facts were discovered is through a rock coding system called the “C14”. This system helps archaeologists properly determine a piece of artefact that has been examined.

In addition to that, these inscriptions showed that there was a different type of communication amongst people in those civilisations from 2300 AD.
