Russian President Vladimir Putin’s First Official Visit To Riyadh Since 2007

Welcoming Ceremony at Al-Yamamah Palace

The Russian president Vladimir Putin arrived today at Riyadh in an official visit. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the crown prince Mohamed Bin Salman welcomed present Putin at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

The Russian president arrived this afternoon along with elite delegations including, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, some ministers, and officials, as well as Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov.

Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar earlier personally welcomed the Russian leader and his accompanying delegation at King Khalid International Airport. Many agreements will be agreed on during this visit, which will be announced.
