Saudi Arabia’s annual budget for 2019 was released earlier this week and it has been making headlines.
The country is estimated to spend 1.106 trillion riyals next year – a 7 percent increase from its 2018 budget.
But it’s not a bad thing- far from it, in fact. The government’s spending is expected to increase economic growth (especially of the private sector).
Saudi’s Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Minister Khalid Al-Falih has also stated said the kingdom’s 2019 budget will allocate 33 billion riyals to various sectors.
These include the energy, industrial, mining, and logistics sectors.
