Saudi Arabia Launches Official Cinema Twitter Account Gets Over 60K Followers In A Day

Twitter has a huge following in the Kingdom and many Saudi government organizations maintain official Twitter accounts.

Ten days after cinemas are allowed in the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia now has an official Twitter account for Saudi cinemas.

The account has received an overwhelming response and got over 60 thousand followers in a day.

The Twitter account @alcinema_sa is expected to be the main source of all announcements related to cinema in the country. The account has even got a verification tick from Twitter.

And, its first tweet is perfect.

It reads “We’re back,” this is in reference to cinemas coming back to Saudi after 35 years.

The tweet was retweeted over 5,500 times at the time of writing this article.
