A crew member on an Iranian ship sailing in the Red Sea some 170 km off the coast of Hodeidah in Yemen was injured and his health started to deteriorate soon after.
According to the Arab News, a distress call was received by the Saudi authorities to which they responded promptly.
The vessel called the Saviz is registered as a commercial vessel. The Saudi coalition believes otherwise and said that it was being used as a military vessel.
Despite the risks involved in approaching a ship that was functioning as a military vessel of Iran the Saudi forces decide to take the risk and save the life of the man first. The injured man was airlifted by the Saudis and given medical assistance.
Al Arabiya news channel did a report on the suspicious Saviz vessel about a year ago.
