With congratulations pouring in from all over the world for Imran Khan whose political party the PTI became the single largest party in Pakistan’s recently held General Elections, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador visited him in person to congratulate him.
According to the News International, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Islamabad Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki visited Imran Khan at his residence in Banni Gala.
The ambassador has said that Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman will also visit Pakistan in the future that will strengthen bilateral relations.

Imran Khan expressed his thankfulness to Al Malki over the congratulatory message from King Salman and said brotherly Saudi Arabia was a trusted friend of Pakistan and had stood with it through all difficult times.
In an earlier statement, Khan has said “Saudi Arabia is a friend who has always stood by us in difficult times. Our aim will be that whatever we can do for conciliation in the Middle East, we want to play that role.”
