A satellite, Zhang E4, launched from Xichang, a city in China, after a collaboration between the China National Space Administration and King Abdul Aziz City of Science and Technology (KACST) in May.

KACST President Prince Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed congratulated King Salman on the success of the joint lunar mission.
Prince Turki has stated that KACST’s participation will support its efforts to develop satellite technologies and use them in various fields, such as remote sensing and space communications.
