Some 40,000 People Will Be Attending The Saudi E-Prix Event In Riyadh Next Week

A Formula E event is taking place in (well, technically, near) Riyadh next week and it’s going to be historic.

Its expected to see some 40, 000 people and many of them are flying in from all over the world

Formula E (officially the ABB FIA Formula E Championship) is basically a type of auto racing that uses only electric-powered cars.

Ad-Diriyah, which is a historical town (seriously, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and will be hosting the event, making it also the first time an E-Prix event is being held in the Middle East.

There is also going to be a line up of some of serious international music talent: including David Guetta, Jason Derulo and Amr Diab.

Two Saudi nationals will also be taking part in the E-Prix
