An Egyptian expat was killed in the missile attack from Yemeni rebel soldiers on Sunday.
Saudi intercepted seven missiles launched using Saudi anti-missile Patriot rockets. Shrapnel from the interception, which fell on a residential neighbourhood caused the death of an Egyptian expat. He was in Saudi on a work visa. Two others were injured in the attack.
According to Arab News via the New York Times, the attack was a “a last-ditch effort”, only proving the growing weakness of the rebels. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stated Saudi wants to end the war through political process.
