Expats in Saudi, gear up, for the fee for expats and their dependents, might be pushed to 2020 as well. According to Saudi Gazette, The Shoura Council called on the Ministry of Commerce to coordinate with the relevant authorities to carry out the study of potentially keeping the fee for expats.

The fees kept for 2019 could potentially be the same for 2020, based on the results of this study.

Another study was also requested just last week to research on the negative effects of imposing fees on expats in different social and economic ways
