Souk Okaz is back for its 12th edition and the Emir of Makkah, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman inaugurated the event on Wednesday evening. According to Saudi Gazette, the Emir was welcomed by prince Badr Bin Abdelaziz and the President and Chairman of the Higher Supervisory Committee for Souk Okaz.

All the guests at the Souk Okaz event were entertained with poem recitals, presentations, with prizes and awards being given to different categories in literature and poetry.

Emir Khaled even watched a presentation of Souk Okaz’ history since it first launched.
