An Indian worker, Arif, has been working for a Saudi family in Majma for many years and when he finally decided to go back to his home country his employers decided to throw a farewell party for him.
Dib Al Mutairi who was the Indian expat’s employer said to Sabq news “It will be hard for us to see him go. He has spent many years with us and was well-mannered and good to everyone around him.”
Photos shared on the internet show the Indian man wearing a sash and being gifted an Islamic book.
A rough translation of the cake at the party read “Thank You, Arif, goodbye. Hope you reach in safety”
The photos have since gone viral on Saudi Twitter.
