The Kingdom Has Sent Two Relief Planes Carrying Food And Shelter Materials To Yemen

Two large relief planes were dispatched by the Kingdom’s KS Relied (King Salman Humanitarian Relief Centre), with food and shelter materials to Aden, Yemen.

The relief planes were sent to the area to help prepare the people’s move to Hodeidah province. According to Saudi Gazette, this is Saudi Arabia’s first airlift to the Yemeni people.

Both planed carried 70 tonnes of food and more relief assistance items

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted

The relief bridge that was launched today comes in line with the generous directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, and Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, to cover the needs of all Yemeni brothers, and those living in the most affected areas, including Hodeidah, which suffer from the control of the Houthi militias.
