Saudi is in full support of the decisions announced by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal on Tuesday. Statements from the Saudi Press Agency and several press reports reiterate the Kingdom’s support on economic sanctions being reinstated for the Iranian regime.
According to Saudi Gazette, the Kingdom previously supported the nuclear deal until the Iranian regime ‘took advantage of the economic benefits provided and used it to destabilise activities in the region.’

President Trump announced his decision to opt out of the Iran nuclear deal at the White House in Washington D.C.
I am announcing today that the United States will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal. It is clear to me that we cannot prevent an Iranian nuclear bomb under the decaying and rotten structure of the current agreement. The Iran deal is defective at its core. If we do nothing we know exactly what will happen.
