The people in charge of bringing us our favorite artists to perform in the Kingdom, The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) have announced a few new rules in terms of entertainment in the Kingdom.
Here’s a few of them…
GEA has announced, according to Arab News, that any kind of entertainment that could risk danger like acrobatics and others need to show an insurance policy.
So if a female performer was to do a live show, and it’s an all-female audience- then that’s alright. However, the GEA noted on Al-Watan newspaper that women aren’t allowed to participate in live shows (even if it’s meant for families)- without a written approval from authorities first.
The GEA added that anyone who violates these restrictions allows the authority to take necessary steps for offenders to be referred to other legal organisations.
