The Muroor Has Announced A Financial Penalty To Those Who Crowd Around Street Accidents And Residents Shared Their Reaction On Twitter

Avatar

The General Directorate of Traffic (Muroor) announced (according to Hash KSA) on Sunday that there will officially be a fine of SAR 100-150 for groups that stand in scenes of car accidents.

No official statement on the official Muroor Twitter account has been made yet. But residents have already given their two cents on the new rule, and most seem to agree with the new law.

One user cited on the importance of such a law

‘This is important.’

‘An excellent idea! This will help relieve emergency situations’ where people are crowding and could hinder the ambulances and help.’

One particular user noted how this penalty-giving could take place

Another user didn’t quite agree with the law

“Unless it’s for help, it hinders help”
