The Rumour Of Prayers Being Allowed On Loudspeakers In Ramadan Is NOT True
A rumour circulating on social media that prayers including the Taraweeh prayer would be allowed on external loudspeakers this Ramadan turned out to be not true. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh, has confirmed this.
As things stand now, only the adhan and the iqama will be allowed on external loudspeakers.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Supreme Court has called on all to sight the crescent of the month of Ramadan today evening.
